Sixteen-year-old Helen Hamilton has no idea what’s going on. She’s having insane dreams boarding on the line of reality, murderous thoughts about a new student, and everywhere three weeping woman are lurking behind every turn she makes. Her fate is written in the stars, and no matter how fast she may run from it; it’ll always catch up.
I remember enjoying this book and it reading really well, but other than that it didn’t stick out in my mind. I don’t want to give it a bad review; it’s just not memorable. But on to what I do remember: the characters. All the characters in this novel had a lot of depth and parallels to the Helen of Troy story. I loved the sometimes bizarre and sometimes endearing interactions between Helen and Lucas.
It’s A quick and pleasant read, I suggest this novel for any young adult who enjoys paranormal books with a hint of romance.
